Cristiano Ronaldo announces death of newborn son; 'We are devastated by this loss and request privacy'

 


The Manchester United star, who was awaiting twins with mate Georgina Rodriguez, revealed that she gave birth to a girl, while their son died. 

 Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo on Monday took to social media to announce that one of his invigorated halves has passed away. The football star, who was awaiting twins with mate Georgina Rodriguez, revealed that she gave birth to a girl, while their son died. 

 Ronaldo, 37, has also requested sequestration during the" delicate" period. He'd participated last time in October that he and Georgina were awaiting halves. 

“ It's with our deepest sadness we've to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It's the topmost pain that any parents can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness,” said Ronaldo in his statement 

 


 We want to thank the doctors and nursers for their care and support. We're devastated by this loss and request sequestration at this delicate time. Baby, you're our angel. We'll always love you,” concluded the Portuguese football star 

The couple, who met during Ronaldo's time at Real Madrid, have a four- year old son together, while Ronaldo has three other children. 

 

"Your pain is our pain, Cristiano,"Manchester United tweeted." Transferring love and strength to you and the family at this time."

Real Madrid also responded saying on their web page that the club,"its President and its Board of Directors deeply lament the death of one of the children that our cherished Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, were awaiting. Real Madrid joins the grief of the whole family and wants to show them all our love and affection.
