The magnitude of the earthquake on the Richter scale is 5.4


Mild earthquakes in several districts of North Bengal, Assam, Bihar. 

The earthquake was felt at 8:50 pm. The magnitude of the earthquake on the Richter scale is 5.4.

 The epicenter was reported below the Sikkim-Nepal border. Tremors were felt in Darjeeling, Kochbihar and Jalpaiguri. The tremor was also felt in North Dinajpur. 

people came down to the streets in panic. No casualties have been reported so far.
